Chiefs Message

On behalf of the dedicated men and women of the Harrison Fire Department, welcome to our website.

We are a combination department consisting of volunteer officers and members with 16 career firefighters. Our department was formed in 1894 by and for the residents of Harrison. Our firefighters dedicate their time to protect the lives and property of Harrison residents and operate on the beliefs of knowledge, dedication and tradition towards the community. Our department is also staffed 24 hours a day by our career personnel. We also provide an emergency shelter to our residents should there be a disastrous situation. Members regularly provide fire prevention education to school age children as well. Both volunteer and career firefighters strive to provide skilled and courteous service to our community.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website.
