The Harrison Fire Department wants YOU to "Adopt a Hydrant" today. We are excepting a severe winter storm with record snow fall and freezing temperatures. With this amount of snow many of our hydrants will become buried which impedes access in an emergency. It is important that we work as a community to ensure that we protect our neighbors. Residents who wish to register may enter in any address within the Town of Harrison. Residents who "adopt a hydrant" will be required to keep it clear of any debris, litter, foliage or snow that may hinder the ability of an emergency responder to access it year round. If you are interested please email us @ HFDRecruiter@gmail.com Subject: "Adopt a Hydrant". Please include your name, number and location of hydrant which you are interested in adopting.
